The week of March 1, 2021-March 5, 2021, has been designated as Guidance Specialists Week in the Willingboro Public Schools.
During this week, we acknowledge and thank our Behavior Specialist, Culture and Climate Specialists, and Crisis Intervention Specialist. We thank these staff members for their focus on the social and emotional well-being of our students, especially in these unprecedented times.
The guidance specialists meet regularly with Ms. Carter, Supervisor of Guidance to develop programs and activities to meet the needs of our students. The role of the specialist is to be a student advocate, mentor, and role-model. They are charged with ensuring that students are attending school regularly and meeting the social, emotional, and physical needs of our students.
Thank you to all of our guidance specialists for positively impacting the lives of our students by believing that anything is possible. I offer you this quote as you continue to work under the umbrella of the possible:
“The potential possibilities of any child are the most intriguing and stimulating in all creation."
— Ray L. Wilbur, third president of Stanford University
Have a great week.
Dr. Neely Hackett
