Attn Chimera Community:

With rising inflation and soaring utility costs, hardworking families are struggling to heat their homes, keep their lights on, and frankly pay their bills. That is why Senator Troy Singleton is partnering with the Board of Public Utilities to bring their Utility Assistance Day to Burlington County on Wed Apr 9th from 9:30am to 3:30pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burlington City. We encourage anyone who is experiencing financial hardships to come out and learn more about programs that can help them save money and make their utility bills more affordable. This is a FREE community event, and free parking will be available.

To apply for assistance, you'll need to bring: 1) One month proof of household income statements; 2) Copies of social security cards or residency status for all household members; 3) Proof of address (copy of rental lease or housing authority letter). If homeowner - tax bill, mortgage statement or deed; 4) All pages of electric, natural gas or heating bills. For more information, visit
